1871 claim strong weekend results across all three sides
It was a mixed but positive weekend for Ealing Trailfinders 1871, with three fixtures producing two wins on the pitch and one conceded result.
The 1sts were awarded a home walkover against Ruislip after the visitors were unable to fulfil the fixture, earning five league points from a 0 to 0 result.
The 2nd XV enjoyed a strong afternoon against London Cornish, running out 53 to 7 winners in a match played under challenging circumstances due to uncontested scrums. Despite this, 1871 produced some excellent attacking rugby, scoring freely through both forwards and backs to secure a comprehensive victory.
The 3rds were also awarded a league win, 25 to 20, after Old Isleworthians arrived short of numbers. A friendly followed, with the visitors edging that contest 20 to 14 in an enjoyable game for both sides.
