The first Ealing Trailfinders 1871 lunch of the 2026/27 season will take place on Saturday 17 October before our first XV take on Grasshoppers at Trailfinders Sports Club.

All are invited to purchase their tickets for a slap-up meal in the Centenary Clubhouse before the two old rivals meet in Regional Two Thames on the Vallis Way stadium pitch.

The first recorded league fixture against Grasshoppers at first-team level was 3 November 1979, and there were 21 further fixtures up to 1999. This is the first league fixture against Grasshoppers since 1999. (League table HERE.)

Main - Pan-fried chicken supreme served with mushroom and lemon thyme jus, crushed new potatoes with crispy shallots and soft herbs, sautéed seasonal green vegetables.

Vegan Main - Beetroot and roasted apple tart, crushed new potatoes with crispy shallots and soft herbs, sautéed seasonal green vegetables.

Dessert - Apple and cinnamon granola crumble, served with vanilla-infused cream.

Arrival - 13:00, seated 13:30, book individually, or an up to eight-seat table, £35 per head.
