1871 celebrates big weekend as all three men’s sides bring home victory

Ealing Trailfinders 1871 enjoyed a fantastic weekend on the pitch as all three men’s sides returned home with wins, showcasing the depth and strength across the club.

The 1st XV battled back in a tough encounter against Old Haberdashers to secure a 26-21 victory at home. Standout performances earned Man of the Match awards for George Emmerson, sponsored by Rob Williams, and Leo Codrington-Lambert, sponsored by Mark Rutherford, both of whom played pivotal roles in the win.

Meanwhile, the 2nd XV continued their dominance in MMT Division 1 with an impressive 42-14 victory over local rivals Old Priorian in an away fixture. The side asserted control from the start, demonstrating skill and determination throughout the match.

Friday night lights set the stage for the 3rd XV as they took on a resilient Northolt side. Despite challenging weather conditions, the team produced an excellent 32-8 win. Special congratulations go to Andrew Quick, who celebrated bringing up his 100th point for the club, a remarkable personal milestone.

It was a weekend to remember for 1871, with performances across all levels reflecting the commitment, skill and spirit that define the club.
