Francis has wasted no time making an impact since rejoining at the end of last season. He announced his comeback in style on opening day, helping the 1st XV to a remarkable 110-0 win over UCS. Not only did he cross the whitewash for a try, he even showed his adaptability by slotting into the centres when called upon.
His journey is one with deep roots. Having first pulled on the Ealing jersey at the age of seven, Francis spent time experiencing rugby life elsewhere before making an emotional return to his spiritual home. Now, with his career coming full circle, he is already proving to be a key presence on and off the pitch.
