Ealing Trailfinders 1871 set club record win with 16-try victory against UCS

Ealing Trailfinders 1871 recorded a club-best win this weekend running in 16 tries and 15 conversions in a 110–0 victory over UCS. Ten of those tries came at breakneck pace in the second half, at an average of one every four minutes.

Luke Parry set the tone with the opener from a line-out drive before Dave Francis, Ryan Conyard, Jack Hobbs, Carlos Duarte and Josh Steadman added first-half scores. After the break, Duarte went on to complete a hat-trick, with further tries from Leo Codrington-Lambert, Harrison Slater, Parry again, Alex Le Bouedec, Conyard and a hat-trick from Steadman. Fly half Harry Vidler kept the scoreboard ticking with a near-perfect kicking display, slotting 15 conversions.

UCS, making their league debut, refused to fold and made 1871 work for their points, but Ealing’s power and precision proved too much.
