Ealing 1871 1sts and 2nds Claim Victories as 3rds Face Harrow Lions

It was another strong weekend for Ealing Trailfinders 1871, with both the 1st XV and 2nd XV recording convincing wins, while the 3rd XV had a run-out in a friendly after their scheduled fixture was cancelled.

Ealing Trailfinders 1871 1st XV 36 – 19 Chiswick
After scoring 110 points the week before, the 1sts faced sterner resistance against a much-improved Chiswick side. Ealing’s set-piece dominance was a key feature, particularly at scrum time, and they ran in six tries to secure the win.

Tries came from Tim Hitchcock, Josh Steadman, Will Day, Callum MacGregor, Reggie Elliot-Jones and Kyle Beck, with Harry Vidler adding one conversion. Chiswick crossed three times but were unable to cope with the relentless power of the 1871 pack, with scrums going uncontested late in the match.
