Ben Ward to Lead Special Training Session for Ealing Trailfinders 1871

Ben Ward, Director of Rugby at Ealing Trailfinders, is set to deliver a special training session for Ealing Trailfinders 1871 this week. The session promises to be a significant moment in the club's pre-season preparations, with nearly 50 men’s players already signed up to take part.

The focus of the session will be on creating space, a key element in building attacking opportunities and unlocking defences. Drawing on his extensive professional experience, Ward will lead players through a range of drills and scenarios designed to improve spatial awareness and decision-making under pressure.

Following the on-pitch work, those who attend will enjoy a post-training social, giving players the chance to unwind and reflect on the evening with coaches and teammates.

Phil Smith, Head Coach of Ealing Trailfinders 1871, said:
"Having someone of Ben’s calibre come down to work with our group is a fantastic opportunity. His insight and experience at the professional level will give the lads a real edge as we build towards the season. Sessions like this not only raise standards on the pitch but also bring real energy and belief to the squad."
